If you have experience converting a MS-Access2002 business application (about 
 
130 different processes) to a web product with SQL backend and using , 
 
preferably, ASP.NET can you tell me: 
 
Did you use a conversion software product and, if so, which one.

I have a remote server which works fine. The Client ans server work with 
 
no problem. 
 
However when i convert the server to a windows service i run into problems. 
 
The service installs fine and starts fine too. It also seems to register the 
 
channels and create the well know types.

I've a big problem. I developed a .NET website with Serviced Components and 
 
Com+ Vb6. This apps are running in a windows xp sp2 very well. 
 
I did install this in a windows 2000 but I am many problems: 
 
- The GAC in win2K are diferente (there is only one assembly directory) 
 
- The server process could not be started because the configured identity is 
 
incorrect.  Check the username and password. (Exception from HRESULT: 
 
0x8000401A)

I am receiving an error when I attempt to add a typed dataset to a windows

this is a general question: 
 
when generating a proxy msi for a com+ app(implemented in c# for instance), 
 
you need to the types defined in the interfaces/methods available on the 
 
machines you are installing the proxy on ... 
 
a lot of types installing the proxy fails for this reason. alert is shown + 
 
entry in event viewer which is useless. 
 
Is there any way to get detailed information ?
