Hi Sir,
I am in the mess of troubleshooting the account lockout issue. I just enable the account lockout threshold policy in the domain but everyday i reach more than 40 calls from my users reported that their accounts have been lockout. All my users are login through the wireless. There is a radius server in the network and we are using WPA2. Before I turn on the policy, my users have no problem to login through the wireless all the time.
Situation:
1) Notebook resumes from standby, hibernate and sleep mode. My users can login to the windows through cache, but failed to authenticate for the wireless. The password they key in are correct, but the notebook still prompt for the password till the account been lockout.
2) After the notebook boots to the windows, the user keys in the correct password but the system prompts for the account lockout message.
3) when the user access the internet, the internet becomes disconnect due to the signal too weak then auto reconnect after few seconds. After reconnecting the wireless connection, the wireless prompts for credentials again. Although the users key in the correct password, the wireless will keep prompt for password till the account lockout.
Please kindly advise me to solve this problem because I really tied up with unlocked account everyday. Thank you veyr much.
Regards,
BH
