ok, Now by using this code , during running when i browsed the file and then click on update error is not shown but after clicking on update button browsed file is removed automatically.

if i dnt use this fileupload control for updation means if not browsed then also updation is not done means when i changed the reporting officer name then clicked on update button then name will automatically came to back to last name and updation not completed also on database,

i think fileupload prob is solved but the prob is in updation, see where it is???
