SBS 2008 unable to connect clients to server
Dave Klockzien posted at Monday, November 02, 2009 4:13 PM

We are configuring SBS 2008 on a new server for our small business.  We have gone through the configuration steps but are still unable to connect a client computer to the server.  We are able to ping the server IP address but when we go to the client and type in http://connect we can not access the setup page.  We get an error indicating website not found.

DNS and DHCP are running and configured.  Our DSL model is also our router in this case.

we would appreciate any help on this matter

Server IP is set to 192.168.1.3
Client Computers connecting to the network are getting IP addresses assigned to them.
