X6 keyboard macro issue
Mike Dad posted at Thursday, April 30, 2009 11:24 AM

Wasn't sure where to post this. I just purchased the MS sidewinder X6 keyboard. The main selling point for me was it advertised you can create macros easily for in game use. I installed the software first, hooked up the keyboard and rebooted the machine. My son and I play Combat Arms together a lot. Its is an online free FPS game. I went into the game, used the macro record and recorded a macro on the s1 button. I go into the intellisense or intellipoint software (forget what its called exactly) and the macro on the s1 key is there. It actually works inside of team fortess 2, another FPS game we play. It didnot work however in the combat arms game where I recorded it. Is the problem that the macros won't work inside of certain games or do I have to do something idfferent or special for certain games? I am really disappointed as I thought this was assured to work in games since that what it is designed for. I am running a windows vista 32 machine.

Please help.

Thanks,

Mike
