BizTalk - Biztalk Configuration/Installation issue

Hi All,

I am facing problems while configuring the Biztalk. I have created a user BizTalkUser with admin rights and used the same user while trying to configure Biztakl.

In the configuration wizard, Apart from EnterpriseSSO, MSMQT and Business Rule Engine, every other Feature is failing while configuring (e.g. Group, BizTalk Runtime etc)

I have noticed that after I Installed BizTalk Server 2006 R2, It installed only 2 databases (i.e. BizTalkRuleEngineDb and SSODB) whereas configuration needs many more databases like BizTalkMgmtDb, BizTalkMsgBoxDb, BizTalkDTADb to be there.

And even I could not able to fine "Enterprise Single signon" service into my system. Although I have selected all the features while installing Biztalk.

I uninstalled Biztalk server then SQL server 2005 and installed SQL Server 2005 and then Biztalk server again. But again It installed only those 2 databases and not all. And this time I have got a warning as well which i ignored (Error 1904.Module C:\Program Files\Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006\BTSWMIProvider.dll failed to register.  HRESULT -2147024770.  Contact your support personnel.)

So could anybody please point out/Suggest some resolution around this.

Also If I need to Reinstall Biztalk what are the proper steps to do so. (If any special thing needs to be taken care off while reinstalling)

Thanks and Regards,
Anant

Hi Anant,

Too late to reply but might be helpful if you still have issues.

Some how you might have choose the wrong configurations.

I always follow the correct manual from Microsoft Site following this link. You can find both installation and configuration steps inside manual. Choose the correct manual for your operating system. The manual is good in details.

Hope this helps!
