C# is programming language , using this you can either develop web(asp.net) for windows application.

C# is intended to be a simple, modern, general-purpose, object-oriented programming language

C# was introduced during the release of .net framework.

hi,

ASP.NET is Microsoft's platform for developing web based applications.

You have to use C# or VB.NET to program an ASP.NET application. That is, C# and VB.NET are programming languages for Microsoft .NET, using which you can develop ASP.NET applications for the internet or Windows Forms applications for the desktop.

hope this will help you
