 i have some data like in time format i want data in number formate, exmp

 i have data like 0:05 and i need like 0.05

1.Right Click the cell, Choose format
2.From the popup replace the : with .

My reply would have been same as above. But with a small difference. 

The format that I would rather choose would be "h.mm"

 i need in number formate but whenever i change data in number the value has been change but  i want , value will be same. like i want replace value 0:05 , to 0.05 privious value in time formate but i want 0.05 in number formate.

Sorry. I don't understand your example either. 

Both the Cells seem to have same values. Can you try to be more specific?
