Exchange Cluster
Hi,
Exchange 2007 intoduced new concept of High Availability. There are lcoal Continues Replication (LCR), Cluster Continues Replication (CCR) and SCR (Stanby ClusterReplication). By default, Hub Transport roles already have HA but not for CA roles. Please visit www.msexchange.org and look for good clustering acrticles and suit to your enviroment. I'm sure that you will get good recources there.

SCR Exchange Server Hi all, I have a CCR clus with an SCR target at a DR site. The question is regarding performing backups from the SCR target. I know SCR does not permit any types of backups since the database header are changed when replicated to SCR and TLogs are purged. So, performing backup on a SCR target with db portability is not feasable. But, what if I had a 2 node passive clus SCR target. After a failover, you would have a full CCR clus at the DR site of a 'failover' since CCR would wait to update the passive node as well as sCR Target [if defined]? Also, what is the failback scenario if you have a 2 node
Before enabling SCR Exchange Server On my target server the default DB created during installation should be removed. Should I dismount the the SCR target DB and delete the installation created edb before enabling SCR? Once enabled will SCR create a new edb?
