I am currently running exchange svr 2007.
Users working within the domain have their accounts configured to use the exchange directly, where as people out in the field have theirs configured to use POP3.
When a use in the field sends a meeting request to anyone either in the domain or an external account the request is transmitted without issue.
Users within the domain sending to others users also have no issue, the problem arises when a local user sends a request to an external account.
The request gets sent in text format.
My question is what does the exchange server do to the meeting request mail to change it into text that sending from pop3 doesn't and how can i stop this from happening.
