IIS - iis is not installed on windows 7 home basic

sir, In my laptop windows 7 home basic os is there ,it has inbuilt iis server is there but it cant installed.please tel me how can i installed that iis in my laptop

IIS is not installed in Widnows 7 by default , but not to worry :)

IIS is only available in Home Premium and higher editions of Windows 7. Please read Technet Windows 7 Editions and Features:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc753473.aspx

Windows 7 Home Basic does not contain the full features for IIS Server. You need to upgrade the Windows Operating System to get the additonal features.

AS IIS 7 is not install by default on some version on window 7 and specifically as you have window 7 Home basic edition just want to tell you that window 7 Home Basic edition even dont contain all the feature of IIS. Home Basic edition of IIS will contain only few features of IIS .

And still after checking you want to run IIS on Home Basic editon you need to download IIS express which you get from (http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=1038)
