Dear all,

scom 2007 r2 installed and working fine but it is not able to generate alert when memory utilization high.

Hi,

There are many issues in SCOM 2007.

Request you to use SCOM 2007 Service Pack 1 Release. In this version, they have fixed 20 issues.

Did you limit how much Memory SQL tries to use?  It'll take as much as it can, if you don't limit it.

You can use the Operations Manager 2007 Prerequisite Viewer to check the hardware and software prerequisites and to create a report that lists which prerequisites your system meets or does not meet to install and use Operations Manager 2007.
