HL7 messages Windows Server Hi ! I'm evaluation BizTalk for an hospital. I would like to know what the complexity is to set up a custom filter (I don't know if this is the correct term) in BizTalk to filter HL7 messages before forwarding those to other system. Example: I have a laboratory system which export results using HL7. I want BizTalk to receive the message, peek some data within the message from laboratory system and forward knowledges to be able to program this kind of filter ? Any advice appreciated. - - Francois PIETTE BizTalk Discussions BizTalk (1) Francios (1) Yossi (1) Dahan (1) Managednewsgroups (1) D60B93DCFEB4 (1) Blog.biztalk (1) Accelerator (1) They thing here is to be able to decide whether to deliver you may need to write some code (c# in a pipeline component or xpath and correlation in an orchestration) to extract the bits you want. But generally I would say this is not complex at all if you know BizTalk, but of course have all the overhead of learning BizTalk if you don't. HTH
