SQL Server - error when logging in...

Hi,
i just install and  run the sql server 2008.
i connected once and by fault i deleted the account from which i logged in.
Now i can't logged in as abc-pc\(deletedAccount). as the account is deleted and no longer exist.
How can i recreate these account .
CAn some body give me some suggestion regarding this situation.

Open SQL Server Management Studio, in the server name write : (local) and use the Windows Authentication and click connect. 

Now after connecting you can create new user in either windows authentication or sqlserver authentication

No gains.

I have already tried this thing but the same error.

What else is possible?

hi,

Create a new local or domain account (depending on your environment and its needs) and http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms191543.aspx. The MSDN article I linked to is for SQL Server 2008 R2, and you didn't mention your specific version of SQL Server. However, it makes no difference. The principle remains the same. Simply create a new account and assign it the proper permissions for your version of SQL Server. The required permissions for each service account are easily found by searching for them in the product documentation (SQL Server Books Online).

You might also want to look at the article titled "http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms143504.aspx" on MSDN for a refresher in the general concept of service accounts and permission. Once again the article is specific to SQL Server 2008 R2, but the principles remain the same. Search for documentation for your specific product version.

and are you getting the your computer's name inside the username combo (disabled) ??

Now last option try to connect with

Server Name : "(local)"  

OR 

Server Name : "." 

if this doesn't help they you have to re-install your sql since you don't have any way to create new user or access it.

Just try to put localhost in server name and connect with this. let me know whether you are able to connect or not

The simplest solution might well be to reinstall SQL Server. Don't forget that you need to consider the time (and hence money) it will take to look for and try alternate solutions which may or may not work.

Though the first thing I'd try is a "repair" installation, to see if it covers this eventuality.
