Visual Studio .NET - Difference and relation in Asp.net , c# and vb.net framework .

I dont hv clear concept about asp.net , c# and vb.net . i wnt to know how they r related together and wht r the things make them a different framwork.

asp.net support 2 language c# n vb to code. But then y we consider that vb.net in not part of asp.net and its completelly seperate? why training institute conduct 2 seperate course for asp.net nad for C#.  I am new in asp.net and wnt clear concept for interview , if u hv anything ...Plz refer some link or books so that i get some help.

u can develop web application using asp.net with c#.net or asp.net with vb.net

the people who are familiar with vb they like develop application using vb.net, people who know java develop application using c#.net
