Visual Studio .NET - Visual studio 2005-Binding solutions with Source control

Hi!

I get this error when I try to bind a project or solution in Visual Studio 2005 through File->Source Control->…:

“Unexpected error encountered. It is recommended that you restart the application as soon as possible. Error: Unspecified error. File: vsee\pkgs\vssprovider\cmsscciabstractionlayer.cpp. Line number: 4009”.

I restart the application but... I receive the same error message...

What does it mean? Perhaps is vssprovider.dll out of use? How can I resolve this problem?

My solutions or projects are not on client. They are on a server.

Thank's for your help!

If you are using any third party tools within the visual studio project then this is recognozed as a bug by microsoft and addressed http://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/feedback/ViewFeedback.aspx?FeedbackID=190661

and http://kbalertz.com/952043/Visual-Studio-SourceSafe-returns-Unexpected-error-encountered.aspx is a workaround suggested for this type of errors while binding which is mostly due to the suo files
