Unable to see the changes visually

HI,
I created the two xaml file; in one of the xaml file I have a button. I add that two xaml file to another xaml file. When I click a button in the one of the xaml file I have to collapse another xaml file. How to achieve this. I create a instance for another xaml file using collapse property I collapse the control, but am unable to see it visually when I use navigate only I can able to see the change.
