Silverlight / WPF - How to fire or enable a break point in my.cs code?

I put a break point but its not working.How i fire break  point in my .cs code in silverlight application.

As long as you are running your application in debug mode, your breakpoint should be hit. Make sure that the breakpoint is actually somewhere in the code execution path.

Thank you for your reply.My application in debug mode only...but sometimes its working...(2 out of 10).I don't know why behaving like that.
Could you please give me the solution.
