Error 10054

When trying to connect to the Intranet Sharepoint Server I get the following
error:
Error Code 10054: Connection reset by server
If I restart the server the Intranet works again but I want to avoid having
to restart the server
Any ideas? The event logs show nothing I could related to Sharepoint
