Previous Thread:   Crystal Reports 9 Parameters

6/24/2005 8:16:20 AM    CR10 ODBC: Missing tables in list of available tables
Hello,

I am currently migrating a VB5 / SQL Server 6.5 (via ODBC) program from

CR5 to CR10. I changed from OCX to RDC on the development machine and

everything works fine. Now i try to deploy the VB5 app onto the

production machine, try to preview a report based on a stored-procedure

and get the error "The table '' cannot be found".

I checked a lot of things and came to the conclusion that there's

something wrong with the ODBC connection (which worked fine with the

CR5).

To make sure the ODBC connection isn't the reason, I created a CR10

report from scratch using the CR10 creation wizard. I choose the ODBC

connection and the i see there are not all tables from the SQL Server

shown. The ones shown work fine, but i wanted to check a stored

procedure and chose the one mentioned above. I can choose it as a

source, but i cannot expand it to show the fields available?!?

What's the matter here?

Thanks in advance,

Hans Werner

PS: Please do not respond to my mailaddress. Please respond only to the

new group! Thanks!
