9/17/2005 7:00:44 PM    11903.1 Batch number in picking list journal only with registration?
Hi all,

has anybody experienced the following behaviour within Picking List

Journal?

I use an item which includes batch number as primary stocking unit in it's

inventory dimension group. When I manually create a new picking list

journal line ("Release" is marked in the item master form) by referencing

some BOM-lot, the entire available on-hand inventory stock level

automatically overwrites my entered quantity to use (at the moment when

the line is saved). I only can override this when not entering the

batchnumber (only item number and warehouse) and use the "Register" form

out of the journal to specify the desired quantities and batchnumbers.

Although "Pick registration" is not required by the inventory model

group???

After registering the needed quantities and batch numbers the journal is

posted without any error, costing is done right.

I do not want to use the "Registration" form as it would be easier for our

users to specify the quantity directly within the picking list journal

form.

Kind regards and thanks in advance

Wolfgang
