Am told to locate the installation package : "data1.msi". The path is  
  
C:\cabs\w2k  
  
It then tells me to find the installation package data1.msi in a folder from  
  
which you can instll MS Word 2000.  
  
MS Word was part of Works and I used the Office Upgrade 2000 when I  
  
purchased this computer five years ago.  
  
I then get the error message 1706: no valid source could be found and that  
  
the installer can not continue (I have installed the Windows Installer  
  
upgrade to Windows 98).  
  
The Log file opens with error message 2746.  
  
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have inserted the Office 2000  
  
CD-ROM to no avail.
