If we have users running Windows Mobile 2003, does Exchange SP2 offer them anything new? Can they benefit from the direct push technology or do they need the Windows Mobile 5.0 and the Messaging and Security Feature Pack?
Sorry but Exchange SP2 offers no benefit for Windows Mobile 2003. Windows Mobile 2003 Phone Edition can still use sms base sync but not the new SP2 sync mechanism. For Windows Mobile 5 users to really benefit from SP2 they will need the MS feature pack which isn't out and will be distributed via the OEMs. -- -- Eric Hicks [That_Kid] (MS-MVP Mobile Devices) The MS-MVP Program - http://mvp.support.microsoft.com This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights...
