Hi,

One of our users has a calendar item that is causing a sync_5 problem. How

do identify the calendar item that is causing the error? I've turned on

verbose logging on the device and can see it's in the first 100 items it

tries to sync but no idea where to go from here ...

Thanks

Move *ALL* items to a temporary Calendar folder and have them sync.

Then start moving items back in small batches, syncing after each one.

I'd bet by doing that it will clear it up. However, if you get the

error, you'll know which batch caused it and you can repeat the

procedure for that batch on an item by item basis.

No other way I know of. It isn't that hard. Put the Calendar in

Outlook in ListView.

Hi Ed,

Thanks for the suggestion but I hoped it wouldn't come to that. I've had to

go through this process before and it's not fun if you have many

appointments. Is there no other way to identify the offending message? It

doesn't seem to be the best design if the whole process fails if there's

just one itme causing an error.

Thanks
