Server ActiveSync doesn't work when the user's mailbox contains many

calendar items. On mailboxes with a "normal" amount of calendar items no

problem exists.

The following event appears in the front end server application log, when

trying to connect:

Event 3005, Source "Server ActiveSync"

Text: "Unexpected Exchange mailbox Server error: Server:

[Mailboxserver.domain.com] User: [firstname.lastname@domain.com] HTTP status

code: [400]. Verify that the Exchange mailbox Server is working correctly."

KB842541 states that this problem has been corrected in Exchange Server 2003

Service Pack 1. However I use SP1 on the front end and the back end server.

I use a ISA 2000 Server for publishing the front end server to external

users.

Any ideas ?

Thanks for answers

I could fix the problem now.

Strange thing... It seems that it has something to do with the Kerberos

ticket size. I removed the old SIDHistory attributes and removed the users

from some global groups. And it works now!

User accounts where the described error occured were member of about 250

groups, don't ask why...
