have 2 laptops on a stand alone 2003 server W/exchange 2003. when the users  
  
take the laptops off site, how can you remotly connect to the network and use  
  
the exchange interface in outlook on the laptops

are you asking how can they use outlook for email remotely? there are some  
  
options:  
  
1. simply vpn to the network  
  
2. outlook web access  
  
3. rpc over http
