Perfectly feasible to do this with IIS6.

Permissions should be straight forward to configur.

Just make sure your NAS is not bringing you back to single point of failure

which defeats the purpose of your load-balancing front end...

2/15/2006 11:26:11 AM    Using a NAS in IIS
Very quick question....

How feasible (or reliable) is it to setup a website in IIS where its files

are on a NAS box?

Are there any pitfalls I need to look out for? I'm thinking permissions

particularly (using ASP.NET). We have two front end webservers load

balanced, and presently have to update both. Obviously having both

pointing to a directory on a NAS is going to simply this.

Cheers

Paul
