Hi I have a powerpoint presentation that uses a template with some images. I

want to remove this image for only 2 of the slides but when I go to master

view and remove the images it takes them off all of the slides. Just

wondering if there is an easy way to accomplish this?

thanks.

There is a couple of ways you can do this On the slides you want to cover up

the picture just put an autoshape over the whole slide, then put everything

else on top of that autoshape on that slide. Or, you can got into your Slide

Master and add the background image to the Slide Master and not the Title

Master then when ever you want a slide without a background image, just

insert a new title master. If you ue the later method, don't forget to save

your template as a template file (.pot) so that you can use it in the

future.

How about the "omit master background graphics" function in the Background

menu?

This omits the master graphics only from the selected slide. It looks like a

simpler and neater approach.

1) It takes fewer actions to accomplish

2) It reduces the number of items on the slide

3) It is easy to reverse.
