RDP and print redirect for USB ports
Hey everyone,
Can someone post me the link to the article conerning the registry entry to
fix local printers connect to a USB port not be able to redirect thru a
Remote Desktop Connection? I remember doing it some time back but lost the
information. I have a Lexmark 7110 that connects to a local USB port of a XP
home machine. I loaded the original print drivers from the original CD onto
the remote XP Pro workstation. I also did the same to the local XP home
workstation. When ...

Connection problems
We have a windows 2000 terminal server, our users are a mix of dumb
terminals and MS rdp client running on win2000 and XP.
For the past month or so the clients are being disconnected from the server,
the only error message is one that say "due to a data encryption error this
session has been disconnected. Please try and login again"
If the user is on a PC then 99% of the time they can log back in to the same
place they were working. Those on dumb terminals are not always so luc ...

Problem using portmapper with Remote Desktop
Hi,
Here's my problem: I'm trying to take over PC1 from PC2 by using a
portmapper on PC1.
I'm using a portmapper that listens on localhost port 5100 (on PC1).
If a connection has been established it sends all incoming data to
127.0.0.2 port 3389 (RDP port) and all data comming back from 3389 is
send back to the other side (PC2).
If i use 'Remote Desktop' (mstsc.exe) on PC2 and connect to port 5100 on
PC1 i get the Windows logon screen from PC2.
This means the portmappe ...

Wide-screen in portrait mode, can I get full-screen through RDP on windows 2003 ?
I have a desktop machine running Windows XP Professional SP2. On this
machine I have two Dell 2005FPW (Wide-screen) monitors, which can be
rotated, and I have done so. The screens are currently displaying at
1050x1680 pixels.
When I connect to a Windows 2003 Server through RDP
(Start->Accessories->Communications->Remote Desktop Connection) in
full-screen mode, the screen is capped at 1048x1200 pixels, showing
black bands above and below the screen from the server.
Is ther ...

TS Client Drive Mapping/Sharing
Trying to setup drive sharing from my client computer to the server via
Terminal Services.
I can share my Client printer fine, but just can't get the drives to share.
Can someone give me detailed instructions on how to acomplish this?
I have followed the instruction for drmapsrv and drmapclt, I have also
tried some of the rdpclip stuff, but I am missing something.
Thanks!
