Hola, tengo el mismo problema reportado con la compilacion en VB6, de la noche a la mañana la compilación se ha hecho demasiado lenta, demorando mas de media hora,
estoy usando Windows 7 Ultimate

hasta la semana pasada esta todo bien, compilaba en un tiempo normal.

pero ahora no, es un problema ya que estoy haciendo cambios en mi sistema y la compilación demora demasiado.

I searched for the error text "Exception 'SqlException': Login failed for user " and one of the results was a posting on System Center web page with the following text:

"I have little trouble, I typed account to 'Reporting SDK SQL Server Authentication Account' and 'Data Warehouse SQL Server Authentication Account' with privilegia on SQL, but now SCOM isn't working, isn't writing to db. Before it when I typed, account was empty, now I can't to clear it. It has anywhere how to set security for this accounts?"

I'm using linqdatasource to display a single record in a formview and want to have a listview or detailsview show the record(s) that match a particular field in the Formview. This field is the primary key to the table I wish to display in the listview or details view. As the user pages through the formview (read only) I want to display the appropriate record(s). I've tried QueryString parameters, Control parameters but nothing works. If I put an actual record id in the defaultvalue, I do get data. I have a sharepoint 2010 multi server farm environment with SQL 2008 R2. I seem to have it working in part as both firefox and safari will automatically logon to sharepoint based on the laptop logon credentials used (Active Directory on server 2008 extended to OpenDirectory). However when you try to open a document it prompts for a password.

I have EventID 4625 in security auditing for a NULL user on the sharepoint server which looks to coincide with these attempts. The only identifiable information is the ip of the laptop is logged on this event. Nothing is logged in SQL.

Has anyone encountered this and found a way to troubleshoot.

Getting Inspector.ModifiedFormPages Count 0 While opening custom Conta

Hello,
I am trying to open converted contact (outlook personal contact to my custom form contact) but i am getting Inspector.modifiedFormPages count to 0 until I restart the outlook. hence I am not able to open that contact in custom contact form. This issue is specifically for the outlook 2007. In outlook 2003 without restarting the outlook i am getting the count.

We have contact converstion winform. So using that we are changing the message class of the contact and also mileage. And we are also publishing the form while opening the outlook. And we are releasing objects properly using Marshal.ReleasecomObject.

Please Advice.

Error exporting built-in CrystalReport in VS2003 with 2.0 FrameWork?

Greetings,

I have a software that can be customized and I have a custom application developed using .Net 2003 and 1.1 Framework and its reports are built using the built-in crystal report inside the Visual Studio....

Then I have to develop another application using Vb.Net 2005 and ofcourse the framework is 2.0 and so I have I update the Config file of the software in order to read the 2.0 framework.

The 2 applications are running smoothly and when I generate a report from the .Net2003 application it generates successfully but if I need to export it into PDF file using the built-in export functionality it generates the following error.

Hi All,

This is a screen shot of the sheet on which i work.
I need a macro which should perform the below actions:
1) The Number column contains many repeated values, the macro should display the repeated values as one value in a new sheet (newsheet.xls) with the column header "Number"

2)For a unique Number (Under the Number column) it should calculate :
Action date (where action cell value = Reassign, & it should be the latest Reassign value)-Created date (where action cell value = acknowledge)
writing the formula again, Action date - Created date , and this should be displayed in the newsheet.xls with column header as "Actual time to reassign" it should display the value in terms of days and hours

3)For a unique Number (Under the Number column) it should calculate :
Action date (where action cell value = acknowledge) - Created date (where action cell value = acknowledge) -
writing the formula again, Action date - Created date, and this should be displayed in the newsheet.xls with column header as "Time to acknowledge" it should display the value in terms of days and hours

4)Now for the value displayed in points 2 and 3
calculation time, should not consider any Saturday & Sunday falling between the dates and should consider the time from 1:30 pm to 11 pm Monday to Friday only.
& the values of which can be displayed under the column with column header as "Actual working time to reassign" and

Connecting to multiple clients' local SQL servers from Cloud based IIS

I am developing a web app that is not doing anything fancy. The parent company wants to use a cloud based IIS service to support the web app and then submit the information to the client's local SQL servers through the internet and the client's firewalls. Traffic isn't that much of an issue, we are talking about probably no more than 10 submissions daily per client. My question is with regard to connecting to the client's SQL servers and running the Stored Proc on each server. We already have admin privileges on the firewalls and servers to do what we need to do to make anything happen.

What would be my best/reliable/secure method to implement this service?

Page asks for 10 items of info then submits to Stored Proc, that's it... with a local IIS server there is no problem, works nice. I want to make sure that the information stays secured, not just for the 10 items, but the SQL server and any security between it and the IIS server.

Any recommendations?

In a MicroSoft HIS 2000 instead of print I need to save in a File

Hi I am new to HIS am I am dealing with HIS 2000 in my new job, and I have a situation where I need some reports coming from an IBM Mainframe, instead to be delivered to printer (we have more than a 100 printers) be saved to files (In a Window's folder) in a txt or EBCDIC format, so I can process the report with a third party tool to make them more User friendly and transform it to a PDF format, for example. Today we have logical units (from VTAM), I mean we have a mapping of one logical unit of VTAM (from the mainframe) to a Queue in the HIS (SNA Server using Windows 2003); so we can have every report printed to its corresponding Queue (Close to 100 hundred maps) and every queue corresponding to a printer in the network or to a print server. What I need is to know where and how I have to configure the HIS to add the functionality to save the report instead of printing it. Can you give me, please an example ?

I have a word document that has fields that are filled in by an access database and then saved and attached to an email. Everything works great, except...
I am trying to set this up at multiple locations. Each location will have a different file structure. I have created a form, in Access, that they can designate where they want the information saved at so I don't have to comb through my code and edit it for each new location. This path name is sent to the Word document to a bookmark called "RootDirectory".
When the Word document is closed, there is some code that tells it to saveas...
Everything runs fine as long as the pathname, specified in the saveas action in Word, is specifically spelled out (S:\QUALITY\CAR_Documentation). However, if I try to replace this text with "ActiveDocument.Bookmarks("RootDirectory").Range.Text", it doesn't work.
Here is my code:

The code works just fine. I didn't set the access code to tell it to "rename" the bookmark when it sent the information over to the Word doc. It was, in essence, deleting my bookmark instead of just filling in the data but leaving the bookmark.

I added this little bit of code to my module and ... Viola!! Success!

Hi, I hope someone can help.

I have a document where J10:gi10 are dates 1/7/11 to end of year. Each cell is formatted to dd only.

I am trying to get the column 11 to 150 selected if the "header" in 10 is todays date. I cant believe I am struggling so much with thsi, can you help please? I have found other code to search and select and so on, but does everything except select the date I am looking for.

Typing on the page with a sidebar

I just created a page with side bar(for a newsletter), but when I type on the main body (the side bar is on the left and the main body is to the right) the line I typed jumps to the bottom of the page as soon as I finish the sentence.

Sorry, I didn't know how to delete my post. I found the answer to my question by experimenting a little. Just changed the text wrapping to square, that was all to it.

IE Compatibility View Issues for New EggHeadCafe site

Well, it has been a fun couple of days deploying the new site which has a few out of the ordinary UI goals (which I will talk about another day) to go along with a desire to reduce the html code to actual text differential. Most of that was caused by our extremely heavy use of nested HTML tables over the years. Getting rid of this was long, long overdue. Even found some long time bugs that I never knew about too. Good to get rid of those.

I tested the site in all the major browsers going back a version or two. Most people who visit here (according to our logs) use fairly current browsers. What I didn't test for, and quite frankly just forgot about, was IE in compatiblity mode. Those same quirks show up when you use the web browser inside of Visual Studio .NET. Of course, our members are diligent and let me know pretty darn quick that there were issues. :)

Probably the biggest issue I ran across that created the most frustration was how IE in compatiblity mode rendered DIV tags and float left/float right. If you do not set the width (either by pixels or by percentage) of the DIV, it will often inappropriately and unnecessarily shorten the line the of text or anchor tag. Does all sorts of crap to the general layout of the page as well. The frustrating thing is that it isn't consistent. Through trial and error, I figured out that by setting the width:100% for our css class "row", it fixed almost every issue on the site with the exception of our new layout for discussion threads.

There are also a few issues with how it behaves when you want the total of two wrapped DIV tags to exceed the container width (our forum posts). Had to make some small sacrifices here but it now renders awfully darn close to what I intended. Again, the key was managing widths of DIV tags that I really didn't want to set hard values for.

So, just a note to anyone else trying to move away from a heavy reliance on html tables, older browsers and IE's compatibility mode are likely to be gotchas.

Escenario:

Tengo implementado el DataBase Availability Groups en 2 servidores exchange

Server01:

Servidor Exchange 2010 SP1 ., con 5 bases de datos:

EXBD1 – SI_STAFF – EXBD3 – EXBD4 – EXBD5

Las bases de datos se encuentran en la unidad E

Los archivos log se encuentran en la unidad F

Server02:

Servidor Exchange 2010 SP1 ., con 5 bases de datos:

EXBD1 – SI_STAFF – EXBD3 – EXBD4 – EXBD5

Las bases de datos se encuentran en la unidad E

Los archivos log se encuentran en la unidad F

Verificando el status de la base de datos SI_STAFF del Server01 muestra: Mounted

Verificando el status de la base de datos SI_STAFF del Server02 muestra: Failed and suspended.

Verificando el log del Server02 muestra que no se encuentra la base de datos SI_STAFF (Database file 'E:\Databases\Staff\SI_Staff.edb' was not found.)

Valido que efectivamente el SI_STAFF.edb no existe.

Con el resto de las base de datos no hay problemas.

¿Cuál seria el procedimiento para realizar la copia de la base de datos SI_STAFF nuevamente desde el SERVER01?

I would like to develop touch sensor driver with Intel Oak Trail platform, which adopts SM35 express chipset in Windows 7 environment.
Such chipset has 3 sets of I2C bus for peripheral devices.
bus 0: dedicated for G-sensor and touch panel; bus 1 and bus 2 are used for LVDS and HDMI devices.

According to Intel requirement, Intel has built a bus driver for I2C control, every touch sensor vendor, who wants to develop driver to control touch IC should follow Intel driver architecture and protocol and call Intel driver to control chip.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find out such Intel driver and reference document, could some one help me on it?

Hi to all,

Image you have this situation:

you have your webserver with your db and application and your domain; then there are many affiliates domains and you can access in them (different by your domain).

These domains ask you a service (they pay for it) starting from their website, this request have to go through your webserver to log the request (and other operations) and have to go to your supplier; the supplier give you a response and you have to return to original affiliates domains with response.

Final result is the display of a html page, as you ask the display of a newspaper article.

All this in realtime, no queue.

I need a suggestion: what is the best (or the possible) architectures to build this situation?

this is what i'm planning to do using Csharp and SQL Server

for example i'll just enter the video number and the infos about that Video will be shown at the datagrid View and the transaction will be saved at the database while the number of days and the due date i'll just encode it...
