Import or Export Webparts in Sharepoint to use same webpart in other site
By Perry
Sometime you need to user your created webpart in other site. You need not to create it again. You can import and export created webpart to new site.
To do this, follow below procedure:
In edit mode, choose export from the edit menu of webpart.
Save it in local directory as .dwp extension (database for webpart)
Goto the other site where you want to import saved webpart.
Select -> Site actions -> Site settings -> Gallaries and webparts -> Upload -> Brows
to saved .dwp file
You can add webpart now by following my other FAQ "creating custom webpart and integrating" listed below.
