PDF IFilter for 64-bit? - Jim

Tuesday, January 02, 2007 1:14 PM

Hello,

A 64-bit PDF IFilter does not appear to be available yet. Is there any
information on if and when Adobe or even a 3rd party will supply one? Any
workarounds for MOSS 2007 until then besides going back to 32-bit?

Thanks!

Jim

It'll be Adobe and I guess with their present feelings towards Microsoft
because of the save to PDF thing, it'll be a while.

I'm thinking of running a 32bit index/search server with 64bit front end and
SQL servers for that reason too, it's a nuisance but Adobe's fault not
Microsofts.

Of course the other option is not to use PDF files at all
