Hi,
Are you attempting to sync music? I ask because I've seen a similar
behavior with my 2125 phone. It syncs ok, but as soon as music starts
to go down it "hangs" and the device is listed as "not connected" on
WMDC. I'm using the just released RTM version of WMDC.

When you get that "not connected" state, can you see the device in explorer |

When you get that "not connected" state, can you see the device in explorer
under the computer and browse files on it?

Hi!
I'm having the same problem sync-ing music to my WM5 device, where the
device appears to be disconnected and stops transferring music after a short
while. All other Activesync operations work fine however the transfer of
music is extremely slow and ceases after approximately 2 minutes progress.
The mobile device still appears in My Computer (although this is normal,
even when the phone is actually disconnected) however no files appear in
Explorer. It shows only a blank Explorer window in place of the Device's
files.
Any possible solution would be most appreciated as my SD card data is
corrupted when using my PC's reader. |

If this is the problem I believe it to be, it is actively being investigated. |

If this is the problem I believe it to be, it is actively being
investigated. If you are hitting this same problem, your sync should stop
when you hit it as all the connections to the device get closed. The only
real work around at this point is to keep disconnecting and reconnecting and
get as much music as you can before it drops.
Sorry about this,

Thanks, yeah it is the same problem. It also occurs during any other attempt
at sending files over about... 1MB to the device. It happens irrespective of
where the data is heading; to the device's memory or to the storage card.
I wonder whether it might have to do with the fact that the device had its
ROM updated when it underwent repair recently. I have tried all ActiveSync
versions: 4.1, 4.2 and 4.5 BETA but to no avail. |
