DST Patch NG for WM5 & Vista - John A. Gallagher |

I woke up this morning to find my Vista PC correctly set an hour ahead.
Good. I went to my WM5 device and checked that - no change was made.
What did I do wrong? I read and followed the MS instructions. I connect to
the Vista PC so I ran the software for that. It said it completed but didn't
really provide anything more than that. OK - it did say it completed.
Well - I assume it never actually updated the device. Maybe the patch
requires ActiveSync - not WMDC? Whatever. This morning I went to the MS
site, got the cab file for WM5 and installed it directly on the device. It
rebooted and came up with the new time. All appointments still show the
right time as well. Hopefully, that's it.
BTW, before you tell me I was supposed to change time zones back and forth
and might have missed that in the initial install - nope.
Anyone else have this on this combination?

DST Patch NG for WM5 & Vista - Sven |

I patched my WM5 devices via Vista as well. Two went just fine, one was
weird. It actually set the time ahead sometime yesterday, and then again
this morning. I just set the clock back. All the appointments seem to be
OK, except they are an hour early on my today screen app (Pocket Breeze). If
I 'modify' the appt from the Today screen, complete and re-activate, it
fixes the time displayed. I have PB on the other machine and facade on a
Smartphone, those worked fine, so it isn't SASH, it is that one PPC.
