I can't login into my citibank online account using IE 7.0 from my computer,
when i do I get either of this two messages on my tab with a blank page.

I have Zonealarm and AVG running and the first occurs also with Firefox,
citibank can't seem to see why this happening. I can use my laptop which also
has IE7.0 to viewe the sites and it does have same application install but
different updates.

I also noticed I can't log into my hotmail account via either IE7.0 or
Firefox after putting my userid and password
IE7.0 says "Ïnternet Explorer cannot display the webpage" while Firefox
dispaly "The server at by107fd.bay107.hotmail.msn.com is taking too long to
respond."

Operating system is XP Pro SP2, I can download my email from hotmail via
outlook express but cannot go there via either browser. When using a
different machine, I can view it with IE 7.0 or Firefox

I can view all other sites with a jsp extension but not this two

You are not being clear enough about what you are seeing for me to help you.

One possible interpretation of what you have said so far is that the links
you provided are just showing you IE's "friendly" presentation of an
HTTP 404 error response. Hence, you wouldn't be able to see the Signon
button I suggested you try; hence you would say "the page", meaning
the page that you posted, didn't have a Signon button. I.e. it is not clear
that you tried the link that I copied which resulted when *I* clicked on the
Signon button in one of the pages that you provided.

In that case, you should make sure that you have _unchecked_

Show friendly HTTP error messages

(in Options, Advanced tab, Browsing section.)

Further, the question about your OS which you neglected to answer
was intended to help redirect your post to a more suitable newsgroup.
E.g., I suspect that your symptom could have less to do with your IE7 per se
and more to do with your OS and network connection.

Good luck

My OS is XP Pro SP2

When I go to www.citibank.com.au and click on the signon button, it takes me
to https://www.citibank.com.au/portal/business_list.jsp which is blank and
also when I login into hotmail on browser it returns "Internet Explorer
cannot display the webpage"

When I use your link it returns "Invalid path
/AUGCB/JSO/signon/DisplayUsernameSignon was requested"

Let's take this one question at a time then. ; ]

What is the title of that page which is blank?
Did you check (e.g., with View Source) that the page *is* blank?

Ok, two questions but I think you can do it -- perhaps even take some
initiative and elaborate on your answer to the second question?    ; }
