Wanted: UI Designer (XAML, WPF)

David C. posted on Tuesday, May 08, 2007 2:02 PM

Startup game publisher is looking for a talented individual in the
Chicago area to work on our flagship user interface. We're looking for
something new, with animated interactivity. Something similar to the
Family.Show application created by Vertigo.Com (http://www.vertigo.com/
familyshow.aspx).

We're willing to work with anyone that has related experience, such as
Flash/Director, that can ramp up quickly on the Expression tools.

This is a telecommute, part-time, contract position, but could turn
into a long-term partnership or full-time employment down the line.

Textfyre is currently a virtual company with people collaborating from
all over the world, but our home is in the Chicago area and we plan to
build a fun, exciting, and art-driven game publishing business.

Please e-mail your resume with contact information.

President

Why limit it to Chicago?

That's plan B. I would prefer to find someone local to build a
relationship with, but if that isn't possible, I'm open to someone
working entirely virtual.

I guess right now it's more critical to find someone than having them
be local, so if anyone is qualified and interested, let me know. This
is a start-up (unfunded as of today) so there's lots of work for
little pay, but lots of cool resume-building experience to be gained.
Potential for sweat-equity too, if that would help.
