metadata columns not appearing while mapping

Hi

I am using MOSS 2007 and have created document library.
I have added some two new columns (as single line text) to the document
library.
I have created metadata properties for the above but when I try to do
metadata mappings the added column's never appear in the list. I searched by
name OWS prefix also but couldn't get it.

Am I missing some settings or do I have to do something else to get the
columns in the list to map?
