Edit Page Grayed Out

Hi,

I'm trying to edit a default page on a publishing site for an
(understandably) irate client, to add a directory web part. The "Edit Page"
item is grayed out for some reason. I don't see this issue for other pages
on the site.

Any ideas?

Hi

The page is checked out by somebody else or it is an list form page which
you can only edit in sharepoint desginer.
