How do I create an alert based on a view

Monda posted on Monday, September 24, 2007 5:22 PM

I am using Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server 2003

I have created a custom list to update my customer accounts which can be
requested by any of my employess. I have 3 account types and only 2 people
can approve any request made based on the account type. I have create a
custom view for each account type and need to create an alert to the view so
an e-mail will be sent to the correct person whenever a request has been made
on an account that belongs to them.
