Edit URL of Picture library, Discussions, etc.? - Leann

Monday, September 24, 2007 7:52 PM

I'm new to SharePoint and so I'd appreciate any help you can provide on the
following problem that we are having.

A SharePoint Administrator (who is no longer with us) created a "project
site" template and used it for all of our clients. The problem is that the
picture libraries, lists, discussions, and surveys on the subsequent sites
created with this "template" point to the intial client site and that is just
not going to work because they will have sensitive data in them. So, how do
you change the URL so that when in SiteB, the picture library link takes you
to SiteB's picture libary/list/discussion/survey instead of sending the user
to SiteA's picture/libary/list/discussion/survey?

Also, when deleting users at the siteusrs.aspx site, do I need to worry
about orphaned docs, discussions, etc.?

Thanks in Advance!
