Rescan Operation Failed

whis posted on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 4:21 PM

Hello I have Tandber t40 library with 32 bit drivers from MS hw compatibility
list. When I try to rescan library it always ends with "rescan operation
failed ID 31102". I’ve already checked all possible reasons but did not
find anything unusual. One thing is strange, after running
DPMDriveMappingTool I have unrecognized character in Serial Number
(DPMLA.XML) what I believe causes failure of rescan.

Whisp,
Can you please check if you are using the latest firmware for the changer?
Yes, this is due to the unrecognized character in the serial no.

Hello,

same problem here - Windows Server 2003 R2 x64 and Tandberg T40 MS Drivers
(ver. 1.3) the rescan in DPM stucks. Actual Firmware is loaded!
Tandberg is not able to create a working driver for the library. So we
actualy can´t use the library with DPM. :(

Can anyone provide a solution for this problem? Compatible driver or so on?
