Have you already moved the OAB to Exchange 2007? If yes, try to rebuild it.
Also take a look at these links:

Download Address Book Error - Darren

Wednesday, March 05, 2008 6:31 AM

Since migrating from exchange 2003 to a new server running 2007, when
I action a Download Address Book in Outlook, I get the following
error: [i am running outlook 2007]

Task 'Microsoft Exchange' reported error (0x8004010F) : 'The operation
failed. An object cannot be found.'

However, it obviously downloaded the first time outlook synced when I
setup the exchange account because I do actually have an address book.

The exchange server (2007) has the following errors in event viewer
everyday.

Event Type:	Warning
Event Source:	MSExchangeSA
Event Category:	OAL Generator
Event ID:	9320
Date: 3/3/2008
Time: 5:07:47 AM
User: N/A
Computer:	SERVER2
Description:
OALGen could not generate full details for some entries in the offline
address list for address list '\Global Address List'. To see which
entries are affected, event logging for the offline address list
generator must be set to at least medium.
- Default Offline Address List

Event Type:	Error
Event Source:	MSExchangeSA
Event Category:	OAL Generator
Event ID:	9360
Date: 3/3/2008
Time: 5:06:22 AM
User: N/A
Computer:	SERVER2
Description:
OALGen encountered an error while generating the changes.oab file for
version 2 and 3 differential downloads of address list '\Global
Address List'. The offline address list has not been updated so
clients will not be able to download the current set of changes.
Check other logged events to find the cause of this error.
If the cause of the problem was intentional or cannot be resolved,
OALGen can be forced to post a full offline address list by creating
the DWORD registry key 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet
\Services\MSExchangeSA\Parameters\OAL post full if diff fails' and
setting it to 1 on this server. When OALGen next generates the
offline address list, clients will perform a full OAB download. After
that time, the registry key should be removed to prevent further full
downloads.
- Default Offline Address List

http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

I have just realised

Our IIS that is running autodiscover is running on a different SSL
port to 443.

Might this be why?

Thanks for your help - i managed to find the problem which has
incidentaly also fixed our free/busy scheduling which was previously
all greyed out.

The problem was that IIS running OAB, OWA, Autodiscover etc was using
a non-standard SSL port.

We have since changed the port back to default and now outlook is
communicating with exchange 100% it seems!!

Email Auto configuration now also works.
