Desktop Icon has disappeared cannot get it back - Justmy2cent

I tried looking in Customize Desktop, but there are now only 3 choices in
there.  The one for Internet has gone.  I do not just want a shortcut, I
would like to have the original icon back on my desktop.  Can anyone help me
out with this.  Thank you.

It was removed by a not too recent update.  But my Internet Explorer icon on
the Start Menu now has Internet Options as a right click choice.  You can
easily put a normal shortcut to IE on the desktop.
