Some behaviour problems with IE7 |

I some days upgrade Internet Explorer from 6 to 7 (I'm an user in spanish
version) and I have some problems in some things:
1. Always I run an instance of IE7, run the configuration page
(http://runonce.msn.com/runonce2.aspx) and the browser cannot save the config
because there some page problem (!?). I tried to remove all the cache,
history, cookies and the problem stills.
2. The option to add more commands don't run the configuration window. Same
behaviour with the component's habilitation option only on the Tools menu.
3. I have sobre problems with the RSS tool. First, the icon all the time is
grey, including when I go directly to the feed URL. Second, IE only shows me
the XML data including in feeds with style rules (example, feedburner's
feeds).
Thanks, |

Make sure scripting is not disabled.
If that doesn't fix it, save the part between the lines below and paste into
Notepad. Save as Runonce.reg
---------------------Runonce.reg--------------------
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]
-----------------------------------------------------
Right click Runonce.reg and choose Merge.
To change all Windows users at once use
---------------------Runonce2.reg--------------------
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]
-----------------------------------------------------

You may have a horked (dirty; bad; flawed) install of IE7. I suggest that
you...
1. Uninstall IE7 (which automatically returns you to IE6) EXACTLY per
http://www.ie-vista.com/kbase2.html
2a. Uninstall all toolbars and third-party Windows Themes (including Window
Blinds).
2b. Disable all Norton Add-ons, if applicable.
3. Reinstall IE7 EXACTLY per
http://www.ie-vista.com/known_issues.html#pre-install, and using
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/default.mspx as the installation
source, not Automatic/Windows Update.
Tip: Save the installer to your desktop, do not Run it.
4. IMMEDIATELY go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and install any
critical updates offered. If a "Root Certificates" update is listed in the
Optional category, you might install it, too, to take full advantage of
IE7's additional security.
