Web Part only works internal - Jua

Hi,

I have a sharepointsite which contains a web part which shows the content of
a folder on our fileserver. When I'm in the company (intranet) I can access
the folder via sharepoint but when I'm outside (internet) the site is not
displayed.
I have sniffered a  little bit and I saw that sharepoint sents tne internal
address to the client.

Is there a way to tell sharepoint to communicate directly with the
fileserver instead of sending the client the address of the internal resource?

I hope you understand what I want to do.
