Do you mean that you have used the Data function in FrontPage 2003 (or
SPD 2007) to create a Data View Web Part version of the List ?

If so do all your users who are trying to access that page containing
that web part also have access rights to the parent site ?

Hi,

I have a site
and a sub site

In one of the aspx pages at the sub-site I have added a list from the
parent Site (using the data source catalog)
But since this list is added - I am the only one who can open the page
If reader users try to open the page they receive the following error:
Access denied. You do not have permission to perform this action or
access this resource. You can request below that the owner give you
access to the resource.

(I know the error is only with that list - because when I removed it -
everything is ok with the page)

I am using wss2.0
Any help would be appriciated.

No I mean I did:
In the FrontPage Menu:
Insert->Database->DataView->And in the list of the parent items - I
select the list and choose - Insert Data View

The sub-site inherits the parent permissions and the users are the
same (Active Directory mode)
This site was migrate to a new server (before the move everything
seems to be ok)
