Download stuck at 99% - Pedro

I have 4 Software Distribution packages in SCCM 2007. 2 of those packages
(Office and Citrix Client) work perfectly. The other 2 (ActiveSync and
SnagIT) start downloading, but get stuck at 99% or 100% and then nothing
happens. The packages that fail are both a single MSI.

If I log on to the computer with admin rights the 2 packages download fine.
I have attempted trouble shooting with FileMon and noticed that the last
file access continuously fails when downloading the 2 packages that fail.

Has anyone experienced this?

Download stuck at 99% - ssiva

I was having the same problem of my download getting stuck at 99% with a
restricted user. In SCCM, I originally created a Network Access Account and
made that account a member of the Domain Admins. (This should have given me
local administrative rights on the workstation as well as administrative
rights on the domain). When that wasn't working, I manually added my
Network Access Account to the Administrators group on the domain. I also
manually added that Network Access Account to the package's "Access
Accounts". Then I updated my Distribution Point. Once I did this, I was
able to completely download that package that was stuck at 99% and install
it. Not really sure why that worked because I should have already had those
rights to begin with.

I then went back and removed my Network Access Account from the package and
the Administrators group on the domain (leaving him only in the Domain Admins
group as originally configured). After going back to the way it was
originally set up, I was still able to download the package. I'm no longer
able to reproduce the problem. I don't know if something didn't get setup
correctly or something got corrupt, but it's working now for me. Maybe you
are having the same issue? Try to add your network access account to the
Administrator group on the domain and the package's "Access Accounts" and see
if that works.
