Mandays - LemonWithMin

Hi

In MS Project, to change the scheduling options for a project, we go to
Tools -->Options -->Schedule --> Scheduling option for Project Name,

and then we change the settings as we want. For example, to present works in
days instead of hours, we set Days in [Work is entered in:] dropdown list.
But how can we do that in Project Server?

We use mandays, and we need the views in project center and project details
to show work in days instead of hours, can you help me please?

Thank you

You can change the reporting units in the timesheet from hours to days and
then import the timesheet data into task updates

server settings>Timesheet Settings & Defaults>Default Reporting Units

With the tracking method set to "Actual work done and work remaining", you
are presented with work planned in days and the amount of effort spent can be
entered in days. However you don't get a timephased entry table as you do
when reporting using "Hours of work done per period"

Thank you Paul, appreciating your help

Executives want to see "Days" instead of "Hours" in the Work field for all
the available views.

I tried your suggestion but still "Hours" appear in the Work field. are you
sure this will address our requirement here?

Thank you,

No it won't.

You could however create a custom field to recalculate work to days and show
this column instead of the work column.
