RSS feeds in IE7 on Vista - Fat Frog

Saturday, June 07, 2008 9:17 AM

Hello,

I subscribed to some RSS feeds in IE7 running on Windows Vista Enterprise.
What's been bothering me is that the titles of the feeds do not change from
bold font to regular font after the feeds have been viewed and the browser
has been navigated to different websites, until I close the IE7 browser
window completely.

In the "Feed Settings", I have already selected "Automatically mark feed as
read when reading a feed". It doesn't happen on another Vista (Ultimate)
computer that I use.

Thanks and regards,
TL

Are both machines running Vista SP1? If so, did the behavior only start on
the problem machine after SP1 was installed?

So I did a IE 7 reset, removed all the feeds under
users\local\microsoft\feeds, rebooted the computer, imported the feeds back.
The problem is still there.

Both computers are running Vista SP1. But the feed problem has been there
since day one, before I applied SP1.

Thanks and regards,
