If what you've written is exactly what you mean,
i.e. - it plays, but not in stereo, it's normal.

Fones don't record in stereo, only mono.

If you want your mono audio to play out of both
speakers, you'll need to drop the single audio track
onto both right AND left channels in your audio editing
program, save that as stereo audio, then burn your CD from
that.

Or something similar - it varies from program to program.
Your CD burning software may have an option to place
a mono audio track onto both L and R channels.

Set media player's Burn dropdown menu options to use Audio CD format,
rather than trying to burn WAV as a Data CD ?

Cheers - Neil
